About Wee School
WEE School believes children are a blessing from God! (Psalm 127:3) We are privileged to help build a faith foundation by sharing God’s truths as well as help prepare them for Kindergarten…and beyond! The WEE School at Memorial Baptist Church meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm and closely follows the Klein ISD school year calendar. We accept students aged one (as of Sept. 1st) through Pre-Kindergarten age. Our loving, Christian teachers utilize a full curriculum with all age groups and provide an environment where children feel safe, nurtured, confident, loved, and encouraged to embrace all aspects of learning! Our Building Blocks of Learning Philosophy is to meet each child where they are and help them grow from there!
Our curriculum and classical approach allow us to teach children through various hands-on learning opportunities. Our Center based activities include learning objectives through Art, Science and Nature Discovery, Blocks, Puzzles and Manipulatives, Books, Music and Movement, Imaginative Play, Math, Language, Literacy, along with other age-appropriate tools for learning. Our Thematic Learning Units help each child play, learn, and grow in all five areas of development (physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual). We include Bible verses, Bible stories, and Bible songs in each Unit of Study so that children can learn how much God loves them and start building a foundation of faith through God’s Word. Our goals are to grow the whole-child as well as help immerse children in a loving, faith-filled, academic, and character traits building environment that will help set the tone for their lifelong learning adventures!
We incorporate Special Events throughout the school year that complement our curriculum. Our students enjoy those extra special days as they grow deeper in their knowledge and understanding of each topic in an extra fun manner! Our Special Events also give our families the opportunity to share in their child’s school experience while fellowshipping together as a Preschool Ministry. We also have two school-wide programs ~ a Christmas Program and a Spring Program/Pre-K Graduation that are highlights of our year!
