A combination of Bible Study, Worship, Fellowship and Ministry intent on being authentic for God and one another. This ministry focuses on meeting the needs of college students and young adults between the ages of 18-24 years of age. College & Career small group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM. Volunteer ministry opportunities include Inreach and Outreach Leaders, and Prayer Partners.

The Ladies Ministry of Memorial Baptist Church is designed to reach women of all ages and walks of life. It is an important part of the total church ministry as it seeks to glorify God, create fellowship and relationships, provide spiritual growth and help women to find a comfortable environment. The ultimate purpose of the Ladies Ministry is that women might become “one in Christ.”

Our mission is:

1. To reach women for Christ
2. To help women discover areas of ministry where they can serve
3. To help women strengthen their relationship to Christ

Several types of activities are offered throughout the year such as:

• Bible Study Classes — September – May
• First Place: A bible based weight loss plan — September – May
• Spring Retreat — Friday night and Saturday conference in March or April
• Ladies Night Out — August event
• Tea Cup Exchange — November event

Volunteer Ministry opportunities include leaders and teams for:

• Craft Ministry
• Publicity
• Food planning, preparation, and clean up
• Music: accompanists, soloists, ensembles and praise leaders
• Devotional speakers
• Decorations

Memorial Baptist Church began over 76 years ago and our Senior Adults have always been an active part of its Ministry. Our purpose is to provide Christian love and fellowship, and grow in a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and others. We are very active and on the go.

Our Sunshine Club, for those 55 plus years of age, meets the 2nd Thursday of each month to play games, fellowship, hear guest speakers, and have great pot-luck lunches. We also are busy taking trips in Houston and surrounding areas.

We play Dart Baseball two seasons of the year on Wednesday afternoons. We have our annual retreat in May, when our Sr. Adults go to Trinity Pines for a special outing where we have Bible Study, play games, eat, and just enjoy God’s nature.

The Sr. Adult Ministry also serves lunch for the family of deceased Sr. Adults and we are always available to assist any other Ministries of Memorial Baptist Church.
